The complete front lever — body straight, legs together, held horizontal and face-up beneath the bar on straight arms — the culmination of the front-lever progression.
The full front lever holds the entire body straight, rigid, and horizontal, face-up, hanging from a bar on locked arms. With the legs straight and together, the lever is at its longest, demanding maximal straight-arm pulling strength from the latissimus-dorsi to keep the body level, plus a maximally braced rectus-abdominis and gluteus-maximus to prevent the hips from sagging and the body from piking.
An elite skill reached only after sustained straddle-front-lever holds with a progressively narrower straddle. Trained as short, fresh holds and supported by front-lever raises and weighted rows. High shoulder and lat-tendon load — build patiently.
