When training the rotator cuff muscles (SITS), ensure that only low resistances are used.
The rotator cuff muscles (SITS — Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus, Teres minor, Subscapularis) rotate the shoulder joint and are trained with internal/external rotation movements. Important safety note: ensure that only low resistances are used. These small stabilizing muscles are easily injured under heavy load, so rotation exercises for them should stay light.
